WWT EMEA UK, has an exciting Technology Operation Manager position. At its core, the Operations Management role involves ownership of business delivery in Technical Delivery and Engineering (TD&E). The Operations Manager is part of a leadership team responsible for service projects in the assigned services region. This position works directly with customers, sales teams, and other WWT service organizations to ensure customer delight while making WWT a great place to work for all. Successful RM/PDs drive quality, growth, efficiency, and transformation within the business while cultivating WWT’s high performance.


Responsibilities


  • Ensure Customer Delight and Vision Beyond the Scope.
  • Track and escalation of technical risks and issues.
  • Provide resource escalation support for service projects.
  • Ensure resource assignment SLAs are being met.
  • Evaluate processes and recommend changes to drive higher quality and profitability.
  • Own and mitigate services staffing issues and escalations.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Services selling teams to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Identify and define creative solutions for project staffing.
  • Review multiple projects and identify synergistic opportunities to reduce cost and complexity.
  • Escalate project and sales risks and issues.
  • Continued focus on methodologies & deployment process with a focus on constant improvement.
  • To ensure alignment, work closely with the PMO, Engineering, ES&A, Partner Management, Strategic Staffing Resource Management, and Regional Management.
  • Proactive communication across multiple disciplines and corporate levels.
  • Maintain awareness of projects being monitored by services leadership.
  • Work directly with Sales, Regional Management, Project Management, and project resources to ensure excellence in executing our implementations.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technology or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years of technical management experience, preferably in a professional services environment
  • Prior experience managing engineering teams, technical staff, and managers in a project execution capacity
  • Ability to work independently and solve customer-facing problems
  • Capable of effective oral and written presentations to senior-level executives
  • Must be comfortable working with internal and external customers at the Executive/ Director Level.
  • Good analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial and cost control best practices.
  • Knowledge of and proven experience with leading a creative team to deliver services.
  • Proven experience interacting with large enterprise clients.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Project Management Tools, and Project Management Methodologies.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills with the ability to implement change.
  • Prior experience managing engineering teams or technical staff.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • Demonstrated technical deployment knowledge across multiple OEM or technology disciplines.
