You will be trained to model within a specialist finance software, Vena, to provide solutions to the firm’s clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to provide insights and recommendations for financial performance improvements.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with various departments, including finance, operations, and sales, to gather necessary data and ensure accurate financial modelling.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and implement best practices in financial modelling.
  • Utilise Excel and other financial software tools to create efficient and effective financial models.


Qualifications / Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial modelling for planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, v-look up’s, pivot tables, and macros. Being able to write Macros in VBA is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience with financial modelling software is highly desirable.
  • Experience using Vena software preferred, but not essential as training support is provided on the Vena software solution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial modelling and reporting.


This is a permanent, full-time hybrid working role (3 days in London office, 2 days remote)
