This role requires a tenacious salesperson with a proven track record of bringing disruptive technology to the marketplace. By identifying new accounts and using our pioneering proven products in the marketplace to quickly engage Brand Owners and Packaging Converters to join this exciting journey in transitioning to sustainable packaging.


This role will be part of one of the UK’s leading new materials science companies responsible for developing novel polymers and coatings in the packaging marketplace.


As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the sales growth in the fashion sector. You will be travelling across UK and Europe driving the sales, growing the revenue and market share, with an excellent technical and manufacturing team for support to drive adoption and trial.


Experience in using Salesforce and the discipline to use CRM tools will be a key advantage. You will work alongside the sales director to develop, identify and nurture leads and opportunities whilst working closely with our partners in various parts of the supply chain, strategically bringing opportunities to them.


Responsibilities


  • Work alongside the Sales Director to generate adoption of the Hydropol solution in fashion and retail marketplace. With a focus on fashion brands and distribution companies in the UK and Europe, across various markets and product types.


  • Generate opportunities with key fashion brands and distribution companies, and then work with our team to bring these opportunities to our partners in the supply chain.


  • Raise awareness of the Hydropol solution in the fashion and retail marketplace.


  • Work alongside the Sales Director and Marketing Manager to generate content for marketing campaigns and generate leads from this activity.


  • Generate and research leads and opportunities in this market via both Linkedin activity and customer visits.


  • Working with other team members to find solutions and overcome problems in order to successfully win brands over to the technology, in partnership with partners who use our polymer.



Education level and/or relevant experience(s)


  • A proven track record of success in developing sales and winning contracts in a B2B industry.
  • Experience and knowledge of the fashion sector and/ or other similar markets desirable but experience from other industries also considered for the right candidate.
  • Experience in identifying and developing leads and opportunities with a proven history of establishing and maintaining relationships.
  • Experience of navigating complex organizations, including managing multiple stakeholders and identifying needs across different customers and roles.

o A passionate individual who can clearly identify USP’s and articulate these well to various stakeholders.

o Self-motivation, a high-level of integrity and solid work ethic are required.

o Be able to demonstrate resilience, drive and a focus on delivering results.

o Excellent problem-solving skills.

o A pro-active nature with the ability to follow up on leads and opportunities and ensure opportunities are closed out and managed effectively.

o Strong relationship and building and interpersonal skills.

o Experience of using LinkedIn in a professional way to generate Leads and Opportunities.

o Professional and articulate, with the ability and desire to be a core representative of our business in the marketplace.

o Knowledge and proficiency in the standard Microsoft suite of products.
