Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate the chemical and pharmaceutical markets in the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia.
  • Identify key accounts, cultivate new business opportunities, and establish long-term partnerships with customers.
  • Lead the sales team in the region, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and customer service to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to drive continuous improvement and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Candidates must be based in the UK.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical sales, with a proven track record of success in selling to customers in the chemical/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated experience selling engineered products and systems, preferably within the fluid handling sector.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand customer requirements, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia regions.
