As People and Culture Administrator, you will act as a first point of contact for P&C queries. You will deliver first class administration support to the P&C Advisor and the wider P&C Function at Islip.

What You’ll Do:

We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:

  • Provide daily advice to line managers and employees on general P&C queries, escalating complex issues to the P&C Advisor and Business Partner.
  • Maintain and update P&C systems and databases to ensure accuracy and compliance with legislation.
  • Handle all administration activities related to the employee life cycle, including new starters, promotions, changes, leavers, and family-friendly processes.
  • Process documentation and prepare reports related to P&C activities such as recruitment, grievances, discipline, learning & development, performance, and reward matters.
  • Assist in formal meetings like disciplinary and grievance meetings, support P&C projects and initiatives, and manage payroll-related tasks and queries.

  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent customer-facing, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Administrative and Technical Proficiency: Strong administration skills, numeracy, attention to detail, and experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday, Kronos) and business software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Experience and Initiative: Minimum 2 years of administration experience, ideally in HR or a distribution center, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Professional Attributes: High level of confidentiality, diplomacy, self-motivation, energy, and a positive attitude.
  • Organizational and Enthusiastic Approach: Strong organizational skills, enthusiasm, passion, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
