Junior Supply Chain Manager to drive their operations to the next level.

In this pivotal role, you'll be at the heart of the action—streamlining inbound and outbound logistics, optimising procurement processes, and leading quality control initiatives.

You'll collaborate closely with key stakeholders, ensuring the business scales efficiently while exceeding customer expectations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Supervise inbound and outbound logistics, negotiate with carriers, and coordinate consignments to ensure cost-effectiveness. Oversee the placement and delivery of purchase orders for both stock and non-stock items. Manage stock levels within the facility and execute replenishment processes.
  • Quality Control: Design and implement quality control processes in collaboration with the R&D team, oversee finished goods approval, and maintain packaging standards.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with ISO standards and health and safety regulations. Supervise staff during material receiving and dispatching.
  • Customer Relationship: Cultivate and maintain relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, product suppliers, and customers within the supply chain function, ensuring the delivery of top-tier customer service.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare management reports, analyze statistical data, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with team members, including the Operations Manager and R&D team, to ensure smooth operations and effective communication across departments.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Participate in the setup and continuous improvement of quality management operations, and train the team to achieve manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, STEM engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the supply chain industry, particularly in cross-border trade and shipping by sea, land, and air, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HMRC and border compliance related to the movement of goods is essential.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and any ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Supply chain and quality management experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications in quality management systems (e.g., ISO) are a plus.
  • Proficiency in building supply/demand and replenishment spreadsheet models is essential, along with expertise in Microsoft Office, Google apps, and industry-standard tracking software.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.
  • Professional development and growth opportunities.
  • A supportive and collaborative team culture.
