Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for planning and purchasing all Focusrite Group products to ensure perfect product availability for the UK and EMEA territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete Planning and Purchasing
    • Develop and implement effective demand planning processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts.
    • Collaborate with intercompany suppliers to understand demand and supply plans, and negotiate purchase orders to meet business needs.
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Manage the demand planning process, ensuring that all stock is at KPI and working with intercompany suppliers to address any shortages.
    • Collaborate with the Operations and Sales Admin teams to ensure data is available for efficient management of the supply chain, taking into account budget and space availability at warehouse locations.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Manage and deliver the purchasing, demand planning, and inventory dashboard on a monthly basis, using this as the key reporting tool to identify gaps and opportunities in our supply chain.
  • Interpersonal Contacts and Reporting
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sales Admin, Operations, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    • Provide regular KPI reports to stakeholders, highlighting key supply chain metrics and opportunities for improvement.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot tables).
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment and react quickly to meet challenges.
    • Initiative and ability to work independently, taking lead when hurdles arise.
