BSC manages £634m of its own investments, as well as acting as portfolio manager for the Schroder BSC Social Impact Investment Trust (SBSI) managing its £83m portfolio. BSC is about to implement its next five-year strategy in 2026, which will offer new opportunities to target social issues at a national scale.The opportunity:Better Society Capital is currently re-organising its operational infrastructure for the next phase of the organisation's strategic development.This newly created role brings the opportunity to shape and manage critical functions within BSC's recently established Middle Office.With responsibility for a small team, the Senior Risk, Reporting and Valuations Manager will have a broad range of responsibilities which are central to the success of BSC. The core responsibilities are managing the investment valuation and forecasting process for a diverse portfolio of social impact investments and monitoring and assessing some of BSC's key risks.What you will do:Provide a self-starter mentality and be willing to help establish a Middle Office and build up its processes from scratch, including being involved in procurement of the key portfolio management system.
