Job DescriptionDocument Production Specialist – Edinburgh A large national Scottish law firm is looking for an experienced Document Production Specialist to join its Edinburgh office. Working across multiple legal teams, you will produce, edit, convert and format documents to a high standard using Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Foxit, ensuring full compliance with firm templates and house style.Why This Role Could Be Worth ExploringHybrid working – 50% office/50% homeBeautiful central office near HaymarketGroup Life Assurance – 4x salaryPension matched up to 5%Bupa Healthcare SchemeBonus Scheme – up to 15% of salaryCritical Illness Cover26-30 days holiday + bank holidaysCycle to Work SchemeTravel Loan SchemeBuy/Sell HolidaysKey Responsibilities:Produce, edit, reformat and convert documents across Word, PowerPoint, Excel and FoxitEnsure all work is accurate, well-presented and compliant with S+W house styleManage deadlines and communicate with fee-earners and Coordinators on progressHandle document-related calls, emails and Teams messagesReport formatting issues and document faults to IT SupportAssist with template updates, precedents, client-style formatting and BundleDocsTranscribe digital dictation accurately and within set timescalesSupport the PA team with document queries and identify training requirementsParticipate in project work, pilot schemes and software testingProvide general ad-hoc document and formatting assistance across the firmWhat Experience The Firm is Interested In:Previous experience in a document production role within a law firm is essentialAdvanced Word skills (styles, TOCs, cross-referencing, track changes)Proficient in PowerPoint and ExcelStrong problem-solving skills, accuracy and attention to detailLegal sector experience (desirable)Interested?The hiring manager is keen to hire somebody fairly quickly given the demand they have in the tea.
