Every team member at Veran is valued and empowered to make a meaningful impact, contributing to the success and growth of the organisation.About the Role:As a HR Transformation Consultant, you would report into a manager from our HR Community. As a Consultant, your work will be as varied as the clients we work with, meaning the role will change with each new client or project. However, here are some of the key activities you can expect to be involved in during your time at Veran:Project Roles and Delivery:You will need to be able and willing to work in a variety of project roles, including:· Function Design: Facilitating design workshops with business SMEs· Data: Supporting clients in preparing their date for new platforms· Testing: Writing and executing test scenarios· PMO: Managing the project plan, RAID, and budget.· Change: Delivering Change impact assessments and action plans.Expertise and Knowledge:When supporting our clients in assessing their options, either at the outset of the program or during detailed design, we expect you to bring relevant expertise and examples to aid their decision making. This could come from your experience working in an in-house team delivering a HR service, or from involvement in other transformation programs. It is essential that you are enthusiastic about maintaining and growing your expertise and knowledge to provide the best advice to our clients. We expect you to pursue your own development to stay current with the latest trends and research.Facilitating the Future Service Design:A core component of this role is to support our clients HR & Business teams in agreeing on a future service design that delivers the outcomes set out in their business case. This includes determining the future operating model to deliver the service. You must be able to facilitate complex design conversations, maintaining focus on the required outcomes, provide options when an optimal decision cannot be reached, and ensure quality delivery within the set timeframes.Understanding of HR Technologies:To support our clients in their decision-making, you should ideally have awareness of current solution offerings in the HR service space, including ERP platforms, PaaS offerings, and service enablement technologies. Beyond understanding the capabilities of these technologies, you will act as a bridge between HR/Business teams and technical delivery partners, ensuring that requirements are clearly articulated in the required format and the configured solution delivers the desired outcomes.Championing Change:You will play a crucial role in helping people understand the changes that future service design will bring. This involves translating high-level principles into practical implications for individuals' job roles. Importantly, you will identify and articulate the benefits associated with these changes, ensuring that targets and measures of these benefits are agreed upon with the client.Supporting Veran Grow:As a member of the HR Community at Veran, you will contribute to our growth by supporting the development of our products, services, and people. Additionally, you may be involved in supporting our business development efforts, including identifying further opportunities within client engagements.About You:This role is the ideal opportunity for a HR Professional, with 2-3 years of operational and/or HR Transformation experience. Exposure to HR technologies such as Oracle, Workday, or SAP or service enablement technologies such as ServiceNow would also be beneficial.This role blends stakeholder and project management, service and process design, and change management with a focus on supporting HR teams and the wider business through their transformation journey. The ability to empathise with the client teams we work with is essential.Other desired criteria include:· Experience working in project delivery teams would be advantageous, ideally related to deployment of new HR services or technical solutions, and supporting its evolution.· An understanding of project delivery best practices, such as RAID, governance structures, and other relevant methodologies, would greatly support you in effectively delivering in this role.· Have an aspiration to or be working towards HR Qualifications, ideally CIPD or similar.· Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, particularly adept in creating clear and concise engagement packs using tools like PowerPoint.· Experience of HR Service Design including processes and process mapping.· Proactive, independent and self-starter.· Able to travel in the UK and Europe.· Project mindsetThis is a varied role that will allow you to try your hand at lots of different things and to develop a wide variety of skills.
