**About this role**

Internet Services in Networks, build and deliver networks and software to connect and manage millions of consumers and thousands of SME and corporate business to the Internet.

As a valued member of the Internet Services team, you’ll be empowered to deliver specialist solutions and projects for BT’s Internet Network Platforms. This responsibility includes creating and planning appropriate delivery plans, managing risk and stakeholder communications, updating wider programme teams and taking part in project and strategic planning with the wider team. This is an exciting role that will give you the opportunity to work with teams across BT and with our vendors/partners.

You will deliver projects critical to providing Internet Networks for BT.

This role aligns to delivering on our promises to connect for Good.

Working closely with our Internet design team and fellow delivery managers, you will play a key role in providing network and systems projects that support many of BTs promises.

**You'll have the following responsibilities**
- Ensuring the scope of delivery is understood, that the network solution meets the business need and that plans are comprehensive and are achieved.
- Ensuring that all impacted teams understand, engage and commit to deliver plans.
- Ensuring that platforms/components can commit to delivery commitments
- Participating in bi-weekly squad reviews and planning sessions as part of our Agile delivery framework
- Identifying when network deliveries are at risk and take corrective action to resolve and risk management of network deliveries
- Working directly with wider platform managers, designers, delivery and operations managers on platform transformation

**You'll have the following skills & experience**

Ability to work with stakeholders, designers and platforms to ensure proposed solutions are affordable, deliverable and delivers the required business outcomes

Project management skills to deliver business benefit in a timely way by focusing on must do capability and delivering effective end to end solutions, to time and budget.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written

Understanding of network change control and the processes used to support this.

Risk management

Looks at ways of innovating to exceed Time Cost Quality measures / sharing best practice

Agile Methodologies / Software: Knowledge of Agile and Software engineering principles: Software Versioning, Software development, Software best practice.

Clear communication of solution needs to designers (network, OSS, platforms) and operational teams
