Warrington Borough Council is giving you the opportunity to join their Children in Need Team The team has recently gone through a restructure and is looking for Social Workers with the dedication to innovative care that this local authority provides. This local authority has already achieved an all-around GOOD OFSTED rating due to their continuous training and development opportunities with high staff morale and utilisation of small teams to ensure caseloads are manageable. Even with such an impressivereport the local authority is still striving to achieve outstanding and is supporting their social workers by**allowing them to play to their strengths and tailor the caseloads to suit.** The Children in Need Team is working alongside the Centre for Systemic Social Work, and are providing a comprehensive training programme to social workers and managers across the service. The team is very well resourced and has a broad range of support agencies and statutory services such as "No Wrong Door", "Families First", and "Restore" to assist social workers in putting their care plans together have been commended on their consistentmulti-agency approach throughout the child's journey and their increasingly imaginative and intensive direct work that benefits many children and families. The new office is within easy commutable distance of Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside regions. Fixed desks are assigned on set days so there will always be a desk when you need one plus duty only being once every 6 days and only needing to bein the office 3 days per week enables you to work flexibly from home and have an excellent work-life balance - A Qualified Social Worker with up-to-date Social Work England registration - Enhanced DBS - A forward-thinking qualified social worker, experience working with Children in Need is essential as there is the potential to hold a full caseload of CiN - Knowledgeable and experienced in safeguarding legislation, regulations, and guidance relating to Children's Social Care
