**Job Purpose**:
The Supply Chain Administrator role is to support the Supply Chain Manager. Working with shipping lines, freight forwarders, suppliers, colleagues and customers. This will also require working across the department supporting the natural ebb and flow of workload within the week, seasonal variations and supporting key projects.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Support the Business ensuring that requests are made to suppliers and shipping providers in line with ‘’loading orders’’.
- Support the business in shipping administration.
- Forecasting and demand planning for stock using seasonality, historical sales and current inbounds as necessary.
- Liaise with other departments to achieve business goals.
**Required Qualities and Experience**:
- Understanding of global freight and UK haulage movements.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills to develop and produce reporting.
- Ability to work independently, using initiative to manage workload and able to respond to varied and changing demands.
- Ability to work under pressure, maintaining accuracy & keeping to deadlines.
- Excellent planning & organisational skills.
