These roles sit within the Central Recruitment Operations Team. As a Recruitment Administrator, you will have the important role of managing & administrating recruitment campaigns and providing advice and guidance to hiring managers.

**Job description**:

- The Central Recruitment Operations Team are part of the wider Human Resources team and provide a professional recruitment service for the whole of the Department for Education.-
**Person specification**:

- As a recruitment administrator you will:
- Administer recruitment campaigns; responding to all enquires accurately and within agreed timescales
- Provide support and guidance to hiring managers, ensuring they are in line with the department’s recruitment policies and procedures.
- Ensure all recruitment campaigns are compliant with the Civil Service Commissions Recruitment Principles
- Be responsible for a high volume of fast paced work

**Interview**

If you are successful in reaching interview stage, you will be invited to a interview assessing your experience in all 5 of the essential criteria.

As part of the interview, we will also incorporate some short, fast paced strength questions.

For this role the department would not consider sponsoring a Certificate of Sponsorship/visa. Please note we are unable to offer advice on any Visa and Immigration cases.

If successful and transferring from another Government Department a criminal record check maybe carried out.

Department for Education do not cover the cost of travel to your interview/assessment unless otherwise stated.

A reserve list may be held for a period of 6 months from which further appointments can be made.

New entrants are expected to join on the minimum of the pay band.
