An opportunity has arisen in the Thames Valley Education Department within Health Education England for a full-time Education Programme Officer.

The successful applicant will have a good general level of education and be able to deal with a very busy environment. You will also have good time management skills (including reliability and punctuality); able to demonstrate a pro-active attitude; attention to detail and the ability to approach obstacles in a creative and constructive manner.

In the Education Programme Officer role you will be responsible for assisting within a wide portfolio that includes:

- The management of training programmes, from induction to completion of programme
- Support the Education Programme Manager with the finance processes
- Organising trainer recruitment events
- Assisting with national events
- Documenting procedures
- Supporting Postgraduate Dean; Associate Deans; Education Programme Coordinators/Officers as well as Training Programme Directors.
- Organising conferences and meetings

Your essential input will help make sure we continue to deliver our current high standards of excellent customer service.

HEE will maintain an effective system for professional education and training as part of a comprehensive health service.
