Programme and Events Officer

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, proactive individual to join this well-established, charitable organisation for a 12-month fixed term contract. As the Programme and Events Officer, you will be contributing and supporting the developmentand delivery of several initiatives.
**Programme and Events OfficerResponsibilities**
As the Programme and Events Officer your main duties will include:
- Be first point of contact for, and provide all necessary support for, the Scholar Programme Lead
- Project managing all Scholar developmental programming events, ensuring all deadlines are met, stakeholders are kept up to date, and expenditure approved.
- Collaborating to design, schedule, deliver, obtain feedback on all events, responding to changes of circumstance,
- Monitoring multiple inboxes, prioritising and actioning
- Managing event payments, ensuring invoices paid on time
- Source and build good working relationships with stakeholders
- Ensuring all participants
- Travel arrangements, ensuring all AV requirements are received in time and expenses paid
- Carrying out other duties as necessary
**Programme and Events OfficerExperience**
- A resilient and positive approach
- Substantial demonstrable experience of planning, delivering, and evaluating events both on a small and large in a pressurised international environment.
- An ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritising and coping with unpredictable volumes of work and busy periods as necessary
- A proactive, focused and organised attitude, with excellent attention to detail and comfortable dealing with a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an adaptable and sensitive approach in varying contexts
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, together with fluent IT literacy and experience working with databases - experience in Salesforce, Slack and Trello is a desirable, though not essential.
- Educated to Degree level, or equivalent experience
- Flexibility to work late evenings and weekends if necessary.

**Location**
This is an office-based position, based in Central Oxford. As such there is unfortunately no parking, however there are plenty of public transport links located in a short walking distance from the office.
