**Is this role right for me?**

- Experience of working in external sales - lead generation, new business and lapsed customers
- Industry experience is preferred but not essential
- Passion for sales and building long term customer relationships
- Sales planning
**Hours of work**:Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5pm
- Full, clean driving license is essential as a company car is provided._
**What will I be doing in the role?**
Our Sales Executives are an important contributor to the performance of the business and to ensure our customers have a positive experience with us. As this role has a strong focus on sales, we are looking for someone who loves building relationships withCustomers and proactively generate sales both face to face and over the phone.
To support our customers effectively you will;
- Find and develop new business via cold calling, lead follow ups, and general customer interaction
- Support customers with the on-boarding of their new account, ensuring that they start and continue to spend
- Work with the branch teams on agreeing and setting new terms of trade for all accounts
- Target dormant & lapsed accounts to reactivate them
- Be responsible for your own sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
- Meet our customers face to face to develop customer relationships (80% field based / 20% branch)
- Build awareness of local market competition; keeping us at the forefront of our industry
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
