Reporting to a Project Manager or Construction Manager, this role specialises in resurfacing and surfacing highways with machine and hand lay works on a secured maintenance contract for KCC. Proven experience in resurfacing and surfacing is essential. **Duties include**: - Managing asphalt gangs, repairing and replacing the tarmac - Carry out Tool box talks, inductions and site briefings - Arranging permits with our Streetworks team - Ordering materials and plant to complete the works - Managing H&S on site **What you will need**: - Previous experience in a similar role - Demonstrable ability to achieve our H&S and quality standards - Excellent Communication skills - NRSWA Supervisor ticket is essential - SMSTS - CSCS Gold / Black - SSSTS preferable. **Working Hours**: 07:00hrs to -17:00hrs **Employment Type**: Self-employed sole trader **What you can expect**: Use of Company Van/Fuel card Further training & development Career Development **Job Types**: Full-time, Freelance **Salary**: £180.00-£230.00 per day **Benefits**: - Company car - Company pension - On-site parking Schedule: - Monday to Friday Application question(s): - Do you hold a valid NRSWA Supervisor accreditation?
