**HR Administrator**
£27,000-£30,000 Per annum
Monday to Friday
8:30am-5pm
37.5 hours per week
**Main duties and responsibilities (Including but not limited to)**:
- Take lead of the onboarding and offboarding processes ensuring starters and leavers are processed in a timely manner.
- Raising statutory job offer letters and contracts for new employees
- Ensuring all recruitment and statutory checks required to employ staff in a school environment are complete e.g. DBS/Right to Work/barring/safeguarding checks, and ensuring we are compliant with ISI regulations
- Producing letters to confirm resignations and ensuring relevant teams are notified of changes
- Producing HR letters e.g. contract variations, pay increases
- Offering HR advice and support as required
- Preparing the single central register of staff for audit on a regular basis to make sure it is accurate and up to date
- Compiling job advertisements in accordance with the School's communication policy and advertising the role in an appropriate place
- Ensure employee training is up to date and records of all staff meet compliance requirements
- Keeping sickness and holiday records
- Keeping the HR database up to date
**Key skills and attributes**:
- Good understanding of employment law and experience of recognising, dealing with, and responding to a broad range of HR queries in a confidential and supportive manner
- Be able to develop positive on-going working relationships throughout the department and the School, providing excellent internal customer service
- Self-sufficient and able to manage workload with mínimal supervision
- Well organised and with strong planning, prioritisation and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Experience of working within a team, but equally comfortable alone
- Computer literate
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvements within the role
- A Level standard (or equivalent)
- CIPD qualified (or working towards) Desirable
