**HR Administration Assistant**

£24,000- £27,000 Per annum

Monday to Friday

37 hours per week

On behalf of our client based in Bury St Edmunds, we are searching for a HR administration assistant to join a well established and inspiring company that makes a real difference to young people's lives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone lookingto further their HR career and become a valued member of a friendly and supportive team. Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful applicant will have a minimum of 12 months' experience in administrative/clerical work, pay high attention to detail, be self-motivatedand have excellent organisational skills. Due to the nature of this role, The post holder is required to obtain a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

**Main duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to)**:

- Provide administration support to facilitate the recruitment and selection process
- Issue Probation / Induction documentation to the Recruiting Manager in designated Trust Schools, for all new appointments, in readiness for the commencement of employment
- Liaise with Leadership and Administration teams with regard to any proposed variations to staff contracts
- Ensure that exit interview documentation and leave checklist are fully completed
- Monitor completion of 'back to work' meetings and liaise with Leadership teams to ensure that these are done on a timely basis. Inform the HR Manager without delay in the event of a back-log
- Develop good working relationships with clients and take a pro-active approach to maintaining regular communications and providing assistance where possible. Alerting the Finance and HR teams without delay to any concerns or unusual developments.
- Undertake first aid training and provide cover for the Central Trust office as required.
- Actively contribute to and promote the overall ethos and values of the Trust.
- Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
- Maintain consistent high standards of professional conduct, tact and diplomacy at all times in dealings with students, parents, staff colleagues, external agencies and any other visitors.

**Key Skills and attributes**:

- A minimum of 12 months' experience in administrative/clerical work.
- Educated to Degree level (or equivalent)
- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
- Good numeracy & literacy skills.
- Excellent Organisational skills.
- Self-motivated. Team worker.
- Professional & friendly approach.
