This role would be perfect for a HR/People Administrator looking for an exciting new challenge working for the UK’s biggest and best zoo, or an experienced Administrator with a passion for a career in HR.

**The Role**

The People Administrator will play a key role in the People team, supporting in the delivery of a varied and wide-ranging set of HR processes and objectives covering all aspects of the employee life cycle.

Key duties will include:

- Undertake administration tasks and deal with related queries, timely and accurately, in line with people processes.
- Accurately input and maintain a range of people systems/trackers, to facilitate a data and insight led approach across the People team.
- Process and compile details of pay exceptions timely and accurately.
- Assist in the provision of an excellent customer experience by providing a friendly, reliable and professional service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Produce, maintain and archive confidential records in line with people processes and data protection/GDPR legislation.
- Work collaboratively with the wider People team and support wherever needed, including assisting with seasonal recruitment and people projects.

**The Package**
- Permanent opportunity
- 40 hours per week, worked 8.30am - 5pm, Monday Friday
- A salary of £24,860.54 per annum

**We are looking for someone who has**:

- Experience of providing high quality administrative support, ideally within a People/Human Resources environment. A demonstrable interest in a career in the People/HR field is essential.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, able to meticulously follow procedure and process data accurately.
- Astute user of systems, confident using Microsoft Office packages and bespoke systems (e.g. people system, recruitment system)
- The ability to work proactively with excellent organisational and communication skills to suit a high volume, engaging team.
- The ability to think innovatively, sharing ideas that support continuous improvement and the streamlining of processes. Supportive of change.
- The ability to work in a confidential environment, dealing with sensitive data and comply with GDPR legislation.
- Dedicated to providing an excellent customer experience; friendly, reliable and professional in their approach.
- Collaborative and supportive, committed to a ‘one team’ approach.
- A level 3 CIPD qualification would be desirable, or similar experience.
