The **People Administrator** will be involved in supporting and assisting the People team in the delivery of a varied and wide-ranging set of HR processes and objectives covering all aspects of the employee life cycle. You will be providing accurate, consistent and timely information within a busy, high-volume environment. Acting as a first point of contact for the People team, aiming to continually improve service delivery on a range of People matters.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding support and guidance to the whole organisation and take pride in their work within a very busy team.
The **People Administrator** will provide support to the People team with key processes through the employee life cycle, including:
- Managing administration tasks with guidance from the People Assistants or People Officers. This includes, responding to inbox queries, speculative CVs, reference requests and processing return to work and change of details forms
- Ensuring accurate data input into a range of systems, including our HR system (SDWorx), PDR system and recruitment system (Jobtrain), as well as a number of Excel spreadsheets/trackers
- Providing key administrative support to the People Assistants, including processing sickness absence and pay exceptions
- Producing and maintaining confidential records demonstrating a good understanding of data protection and relevant GDPR legislation. To include keeping employee files up to date and archiving leavers files when required in line with agreed retention periods
- Supporting the Recruitment Administrator during peak Seasonal Recruitment periods, acting as an ambassador for the People team
- Contributing to the production of People team metrics and reports for stakeholders including Managers, Directors & Trustees
**The Package**
- Permanent contract
- Hybrid working
- Full time 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
- A salary of £22,844.02 per annum
- 33 days annual leave including bank holidays (based on working 5 days per week)

**We are looking for someone who has**:
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience of providing high quality administrative support, ideally within a People/Human Resources environment
- The ability to work proactively with excellent organisational and communication skills to suit a busy, exciting team
- The ability to think innovatively, sharing ideas that support continuous improvement and the streamlining of processes
- The ability to prioritise their own workload and work to deadlines
- The ability to work in a confidential environment, dealing with sensitive data
- Have excellent customer service skills, listening skills and a degree of empathy
- Good literacy and numeracy skills, and confident using Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
**Although not essential, the following would be desirable**:
- A level 3 CIPD Qualification would be advantageous, or similar experience
