**Our Client**
Our client is a well established medium sized business which has origins which date back centuries. Providing support, training and education to thousands of people each year, they have seen a spike in activity since the beginning of the pandemic. A friendly,supportive environment to work in, offering hybrid working to the right professional.
**The Role**:
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts and contributing towards board backs. You will also be in control of fixed assets for the organisation.
Duties Include:
- Manage the preparation of month-end and year-end management accounts
- Accruals & prepayments
- Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Fixed Assets
- Proactively drive improvements across systems
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with annual audit
- Deputise for the FC when required
You will be a qualified accountant with a minimum of one years experience relevant experience. You will have the flexibility to be able to travel occasionally within the south of England. You will be a strong communicator with a proven track record of processimprovement.
