**Location: Hybrid working**, you'll be based at our vibrant Leicester office with a mix of in-office and home working. You'll have scheduled office time as well as days where you can work from home. All you need to work from home is a stableinternet connection and a quiet space to work. We'll kit you out with a new Microsoft Surface 4 laptop.

**Shift Pattern: Full Time**: You'll be working 37.5 hours a week on a rotating shift pattern between 08:00-19:00 Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:00 Saturday, and 09:00-13:00 Sunday. You only will have to work 1 in 4 Weekends. Academytraining will be provided to help you succeed in the role.

**Contract: Permanent**

**Salary: £19,800 per annum (**excluding annual bonus).

Hastings Direct have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic customer service advisor to join our expanding team based in our vibrant Leicester office.

**Joining our New Business team**:
The New Business Team provides customers with new quotes, whether they're looking for car, bike, van, home or multi-car/bike policies. We give them all the details they need to make an informed decision, making sure they have the right cover that suits alltheir needs. You'll be supporting customers at the point of their insurance purchase using one of our digital products.

We will provide full training, which will include academy training and shadowing to help you succeed in the role. We offer a supportive development programme with a clear structure for growth within your role. You'll develop skills to retain our customers,strengthen your negotiation skills and become an advocate of self service. There are also lots of opportunities to continue your career with us across the business. Whatever your future holds, we'll work with you on the best options to put you on the righttrack.

**What we're looking for**:

- a self-motivated individual who takes pride in what you do when dealing with claims, sales, taking payments and dealing with complaint queries face to face or by phone

- positive and take a patient and empathetic approach when dealing with customers

- adept at navigating software systems while managing a conversation

**What we're offering you**:

- A Starting salary of £19,800 (excluding annual bonus) where you will build your sales, claims and complaints handling experience skills
- Structured career path with the opportunity to develop through Ops 2.0 and earn up to £24,000, while also developing your sales, claims and customer service skills further.
- 25 days holiday and bank holidays equivalent (plus buy and sell up to 5 days)
