Permanent position

A permanent position is available for an experienced and motivated Supervisor looking for an opportunity to progress into a Warehouse Management position. The company is a well-established, successful organisation looking for positive and dynamic individuals to join their team.
- **Warehouse Supervisor duties will include**:_
- Showing your initiative and creativity to suggest and implement new methods of working to improve the warehouse operations
- Maintaining and ensuring batch traceability of the entire range of stock
- Taking overall responsibility of the day-to-day running of the warehouse
- Managing a small, but experienced team of operatives
- Ensuring fast and accurate preparation of materials required for customer orders through prioritisation, planning and the effective use of resources available
- Taking responsibility for the storage of stock and ensuring physical stock corresponds with the information held on the ERP system
- Leading the team by example and delegating workloads effectively
- Liaising with internal sales teams to fulfil customer requests and provide a timely response to all enquiries
- Training and developing warehouse staff within their roles
- Ensuring all staff, visitors and contractors within the Warehouse are adhering to Health & Safety requirements
- Use and maintain materials processing equipment
- Maintain a clean and well-organised working environment
- **Requirements include**:_
- You must have some prior experience of operating and updating warehouse ERP computer systems
- Experience of working in a material stock holding environment or similar (is ideal but not essential)
- Understanding the importance of working in an environment where traceability and identification of correct stock is key
- A current Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Good organisational skills to enable planning and management of multiple tasks
- Ability to demonstrate efficiency to the warehouse team and lead others by your own example
- Previous knowledge / experience of working within an ISO 9001or similar quality management system (QMS) is desirable but not necessary as full training will be given
- Saw operating experience is helpful but not essential as training will be provided

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000.00 per year
