**The Opportunity**:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at our Primaflow F&P Bedford RDC

**The Role**:
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will report into the Shift Manager and you will have responsibility for a total of nine direct reports.

The main purpose of the role is to check goods received against delivery notes and to maintain accurate administration of the goods in processes. As well as supporting in the supervision of the Stock Team.

**Key Result Areas, Tasks and Main Duties**:
As Warehouse Supervisor at Primaflow F&P, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of your department. The aim of your role is to run an effective goods inward service, at all times maintain accuracy, product quality and ongoing communications with relevant departments. Key responsibilities are:

- To ensure at all times, that products are quality checked and handled with care
- Transfers for our other branches to be checked thoroughly and if there are any discrepancies to be investigated immediately
- To ensure prompt action is taken with any complaints that arise from neglect of any of the parts of the goods in process and investigate immediately
- To ensure at all times the warehouse and external areas are kept in a safe and tidy condition
- To ensure stock received is verified in correlation with supplier documentation and the purchase order to ensure accuracy of goods and paperwork
- To process stock in a logical order based on when it is received and other requirements in the RDC
- To ensure no goods leave the goods in holding area without being checked and booked in on our internal WMS system
- To ensure all supplier deliveries are unloaded in a safe and efficient manner
- To sign for deliveries ensuring accuracy of information
- To check deliveries for any noticeable transit damage and ensure any damage is noted on delivery paperwork prior to signing
- To collate all delivery paperwork including invoices and forward onto the buying and accounts team on a daily basis
- To train and motivate staff and implement any improvements necessary

As a key holder you will participate in an on-call rota with other Managers for any security issues/breaches out of hours and will be required to comply with security requirements when opening and locking the store
- FLT licenses - counterbalance, reach desirable
- Previous experience of goods inwards is essential
- Take ownership and care of all stock and orders within the required speed to ensure that the items are dispatched to stores within the right time frame
- Be self-motivated, demanding, hardworking and able to work autonomously
- Be IT literate and have excellent administrative skills
- Be responsive and proactive in your management style to suit operational requirements
- Be prepared to assist with other departments as and when required

Pay: £29,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
