The role of the Comms & Engagement Partner for Retail is to take responsibility for a cohesive and holistic approach to communication and engagement for these area of the business.

Reporting to the Senior C&E Manager, you will work in alignment with the business strategy, partnering with our Director of Stores to understand and support their C&E needs.

**What you’ll be doing**:
**Communications**
- Creating content related to Retail aligned to our overall LinkedIn strategy
- Play a key role in helping Retail teams adapt to business changes or transformations. Identify and address any resistance to change, develop communication strategies, and ensure a smooth transition process
- Support and creation of content for the annual Retail Conference
- Partnering with teams to support their communications needs, including creating templates or ad hoc content requests
- Working closely with the C&E Partner for HO & CC to ensure comms are consistent across all areas and channels, and align with the brand
- Establish strong working relationships with senior leaders within the Retail department. Act as a trusted advisor, proactively seeking their input and ensuring that communication and engagement efforts align with their strategic goals.
- Create compelling and tailored communication materials for senior leaders. Ensure that messaging is clear, concise, and aligned with the TWC’s objectives, helping senior stakeholders effectively convey their messages to Retail teams.

**Workplace**
- Delivering current and future communication campaigns and content
- Be a Workplace expert - to understand not just how to create great content, but also how to problem solve as a system admin
- Understanding and reporting against Workplace usage, to ensure it is getting maximum engagement and reach
- Partner with Area Managers and Store Manager to support team interaction and engagement on the Workplace platform

**Engagement**
- Support and delivery Retail wellbeing initiatives
- Refine the retail strand of our C&E strategy, ensuring our comprehensive internal communications plans are tailored to the Retail teams
- Set-up and report on planned and ad hoc company surveys
- Utilise data analysis to gain insights into employee engagement within Retail. Prepare regular reports on engagement metrics, identify trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and execute a range of internal events, from team-building activities to larger-scale conferences, designed to enhance employee engagement and create memorable moments for Retail teams.
- Manage and oversee employee recognition programs, ensuring that Retail employees receive appropriate recognition for their contributions. Continuously assess and enhance these programs for maximum impact.
- Support the implementation of the EDI initiatives and strategy within the Retail teams
- Delivery of the annual calendar of engagement events specific for your areas - this includes but is not limited to EDI, Mary’s Town Hall, Company conference, new season launch, Charity
- Delivery of Peak engagement activity for Retail
- Advocate for and implement sustainability practices and initiatives that align with the company's values. Encourage Retail teams to adopt sustainable practices and contribute to TWC’s environmental goals.
- Take ownership of budget planning and management for engagement initiatives, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively and transparently. Provide regular budget reports and updates.

**The skills & experience that you’ll need**:

- Knowledge and understanding of creating employee engagement surveys
- A keen eye for detail
- Managing and hosting small events
- Strong self-awareness and interpersonal skills - able to manage relationships with peers and influence key stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentational skills
- Experience in Project Management not essential but desirable
- A Brand Ambassador who inspires and motivates
- Planning and organisational skills
- PC literate with both Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva
- Experience using Workplace
- Working at Pace
