The Partner Account Manager is responsible for driving sales cycles end to end with our reseller partners within an assigned territory. They will establish new partner relationships and maintain existing partners in the assigned region.
They will be responsible for ensuring reseller partners are knowledgeable on aspects of selling and implementing Prophix Software, enabled, self-sufficient and revenue positive with their Prophix business.
**What You Will Do at Prophix**
- ** **Effectively grow and manage a channel sales territory including preparation and execution of a sales territory plan.
- You will create & execute individual partner plans aligned to the overall UK Channel strategy and model. Working collaboratively with partners to develop and execute business strategies and plans, to support growth through the Prophix Channel.
- Build, maintain, and grow relationships within your assigned partner accounts to increase Prophix adoption and further our channel footprint with the individual partners.
- Responsible for achieving territory channel sales targets and quota
- Assist partners as required throughout their sales cycles. Including supporting “end to end” cycles for their prospects
- Articulate Prophix’ business benefits and value proposition to partner prospects, partners, partner clients/prospects.
- Collaborate with the Prophix Channel Marketing team on partner campaigns including lead gen & nurture events, channel education and partner adoption.
- Company representative at conferences and onsite partner events, tradeshows, and conferences.
- Internal/external liaison representing both Partner and Prophix interests to other departments across the organisation (i.e. Prophix Academy, Marketing, Finance and Administration, Direct Sales, Professional Services, Development & Customer Support). Work effectively within cross functional teams.
- Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results remaining accountable for your performance
- Ensure your partners are following Prophix Channel processes and meeting program & individual status requirements.
- Maintain accurate record keeping and reporting within Prophix systems

**Required Qualifications**:
- Technology channel /partner sales or relevant business experience in BI, CPM or ERP
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong partner & client relationships within a technology company.
- Enjoy the challenge of developing new business and the ability to effectively grow and manage a channel sales territory
- Proven track record of meeting sales objectives and territory/account development. Competitive and ambitious with a history of managing complex, conceptual, solution sales with partners.
- Solid negotiating, objection handling, and closing skills. Capability of navigating complex organisation charts and selling at multiple levels of an organisation (both technical and operational). Consultative selling
***Preferred Qualifications**
- Knowledge of the MEDDICC qualification framework or similar sales methodology
- Knowledge of accounting and/or financial concepts (either academic or practical) is a plus
- Be a self-motivated, driven, results oriented individual with a strong desire to win. Confidence and ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of partners and their customers including senior employees/executives both remote and onsite
- An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to perform the activities required to be successful based on best practices.
- A team player that is collaborative in nature, with the ability to inspire, influence and motivate.
- The ability to rapidly adapt to changing environments
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Creative thinker and active listener with excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills
- Degree educated
**NOTES**
This position is officially located at Prophix’s UK head office in Reading. Interviews will be held remotely. At the moment, all work is being done remotely (at home) until further notice and flexible working is expected to continue.
This role is a hybrid role which provides the opportunity to work entirely from our office in Reading, United Kingdom or a combination of in-office and remote - hybrid. We have invested in best-in-class tools, technology, and culture to ensure our team members can do their best work.
