As part of our sustained growth in UK and EU we are recruiting for a professional and ambitious Polish Speaking Finance Assistant. It is a Monday to Friday position based in our head office in York.
Due to a company branch being located in Poland, the ability to speak communicative Polish is fundamental.
If you have previous experience as an Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Bookkeeper you have the experience we are looking for.
If you have a degree in mathematics, finances or similar and good knowledge and skills of using Excel we will also be happy to consider you.
Your tasks would include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting with day to day accounting.
- Assisting with month end and year-end accounting.
- Posting of invoices to Accounting Software.
- Preparation of payroll information.
- Dealing with any queries from Bank, Accountants, Customers, Suppliers, Management Team, other employees.
- Dealing with Invoice Finance and Import Loans.
- Bank reconciliation, Journals, Contras, dealing with all areas of purchase and sales ledger.
- Using a variety of software packages, to produce correspondence and documents; maintain records, spreadsheets and databases.
- Other invoicing and bookkeeping tasks.
- Great work attitude.

- Commitment to the Job.
- Helpfulness.
You also need to have:
- Very strong attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Strong ability in business support role.
- Ability to work with a team and under the initiative drawn by self.
