As the Payroll and Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for administering and processing the salaries and benefits of the employees of the organisation.

**Client Details**

My client is looking to hire a Payroll and Finance Assistant on a temporary to permanent contract. This would require an immediate start and is based in York.

**Description**

Key responsibilities of the Payroll and Finance Assistant will be;
- Collecting daily, weekly, and monthly employee time sheets
- Calculating employee work hours
- Calculating employee benefits and deductions
- Preparing employee compensation checks using payroll software
- Ensuring taxes comply with company and state regulations
- Preparing payroll reports
- Distributing payment statements
- Other adhoc Finance responsibilities

**Profile**

As the successful Payroll and Finance Assistant, you will;
- Have experience in Payroll
- Have Payroll systems experience
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have Accounts Payable/Receivable experience
- Have problem solving skills
- Have computer and software proficiency
- Have mathematical skills
