**Administration Assistant (MATERNITY COVER)**
**Location**: John Wilson Business Park, Whitstable
**Hours of work**: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
**Contract type**: Fixed term contract of up to 12 months (maternity cover)
**Company overview**
Alder Associates Ltd is a paediatric case management company based in Whitstable, Kent. As a team we cover Kent and into the neighbouring counties to provide support to client’s and their families for care and rehabilitation.
**The role**
We are looking for an Administration Assistant (Maternity Cover) for a small and busy office in Whitstable. Initially working 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with 5.6 weeks paid annual leave each year.
The role will be working alongside the Office Manager and HR Manager for a remote team of Case Managers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ordering equipment, services or any other requirements as dictated by case management requirements.
- Creating and editing documents, filing and accessing documents on a cloud, whilst demonstrating strong attention to details.
- Managing the upkeep of the small company office. To include ordering supplies, coordinating contractors, light cleaning duties on a weekly basis, etc.
- Any other duties considered reasonable, to support the needs of the business, its clients and employees.
**Essential skills**
- Be professional and confident on the phone.
- Have a working knowledge of Microsoft 365 programs, especially Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Work with an honest approach ands a high level of integrity and discretion.
- Be calm, helpful, flexible, reliable and hardworking, with excellent organisational skills.
- Have the ability to maintain accurate written and numerical records as required by the Company.
- Work diligently, with a collaborative approach and be able to take instruction.
- Have a good understanding of confidentiality and demonstrate an awareness when performing the role.
**Desirable skills**
- Have prior knowledge, or an interest in, health and social care.
**Recruitment process**

**Person specification**
The type of work will be varied and the ability to quickly move from one task to another would be advantageous. Full on the job training and support is given.
The role would suit someone looking to further consolidate previous administrative or office experience.
Please note this is a Maternity Cover position, of up to 12 months.
