**About Strategy, Communications and Engagement**
Working at the very heart of the organisation in the Strategy and Resources department, our service is responsible for the council’s public profile and for implementing its strategic vision. Working with senior leaders, elected members and our communities, we ensure Barnet’s decision makers are informed and guided by resident insight and equipped with the policies, strategies and campaigns to deliver the best possible outcomes for the borough.

**About the role**
As a Strategy Officer you will play a central role in supporting the implementation of the emerging corporate plan. Supporting the Strategy Manager and wider team, you can expect to be involved in a range of programmes and initiatives. Supporting the development of strategic plans, policies and strategy documents, you will help the Strategy Team guide the organisation into new ways of working and an increased emphasis on place-based solutions that involve residents and other stakeholders.

**About you**
You will have experience in a role leading policy or strategy projects, able to prepare reports and presentations and interpret complex information quickly. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and be confident in engaging senior management and stakeholders in a professional manner. You will be a good team player, able to bring different agencies together around a project.
