GXO is currently seeking a talented and driven individual for the role of **Transport Team Leader**, to work at our busy Wilko site in Worksop. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient planning and running of the transport operation.

The role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work on a 5 out of 7 shift pattern (days - with flexibility on start/finish times), though some flexibility may be required during peak times.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Leading and working as a team to be responsible for delivering operational performance and the maintenance of site systems and operational processes
- Ensure the efficient planning and running of the operation, including supporting people management processes when required
- Effectively lead site teams operationally and support the Assistant Transport Manager
- Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure optimum performance and efficiency, whilst building positive working relationships with direct reports, peers and 3PL’s

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Some experience within a transport environment, with a working knowledge of WTD and drivers hours
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, working accurately to strict KPI’s
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills, to champion a can do attitude
- CPC would be an advantage
