Our Transport division combines over 50 years of construction logistics and haulage expertise.The VacancyThe purpose of the role is to efficiently and profitably plan Heavy Haulage (Cat 2, Cat 3) vehicles across the Explore network, in accordance with requirements of our customers. Including working close with Swept Path & Routing Analyst on projects that require site visits.Main ResponsibilitiesManagement of Heavy Haulage orders well.Planning of allocated pool of vehicles and drivers.Maximise vehicle and driver utilisation.Generating back loads.Close working relationship with allocated drivers.Liaison with operations team.Coordination with wider planning team to ensure all jobs are covered and customers satisfied.Coordination with commercial team to ensure jobs are completed and invoiced correctly.Heavy Haulage Customer Project Support.Skills / KnowledgeExcellent communication skills are essential, understanding of the Heavy Haulage transport industry is essential with knowledge of construction based customers and the requirements for project sites would be a significant advantage.
