**Full Time, Permanent - Tuesday to Saturday shift pattern**

Explore Plant and Transport Solutions are currently looking for a Senior Planner to join our planning team based at Worksop and efficiently and profitably plan general fleet vehicles across the Explore network.

Organised and logical, you will plan the allocated fleet of trucks and drivers, ensuring maximum vehicle utilisation and that each driver is aware of their requirements and journey. With a customer-focused approach, you will liaise with colleagues to ensure that all delivery jobs are maintained and that we continue to meet our customers’ expectations. You’ll build solid relationships with the allocated drivers and work closely with the Operations Team and coordinate vehicle inspections and driver holiday / leave, ensuring that resources are available meet deliveries. In this varied role, you will also work with the Commercial Team to ensure that jobs are completed on time and invoiced correctly. As a senior member of the team, you’ll also be on hand to coach, mentor and develop the existing planning team, helping to achieve high levels of performance and ensure that individuals are able to consistently meet specific KPI’s.

With experience planning vehicles in busy multi-site operations, you will be accustomed to building close working relationships with drivers. You’ll be an excellent communicator and able to confidently liaise with colleagues. We’re looking for an individual with a good understanding of the transport industry and ideally have knowledge of construction-based customers, although this isn’t essential. Making decisions quickly and efficiently, you’ll feel comfortable managing multiple activities and developing a plan that meets objectives and maintain the fleet of transport and drivers.
