**Job Role: QA Supervisor**
**Reports to: QA Manager**
**Working Hours: 15:15 - 23:15, Monday to Friday**
**What does the role look like?**
To be responsible for monitoring the safety, legality and quality of all products manufactured at site. To ensure that the procedures detailed in the Quality Manual are carried out and its objectives met, and that appropriate corrective actions are taken where necessary. Maintain systems in place that support BRC and retailers manufacturing requirements. This will be achieved by spending a minimum of 70% time on the shop floor. To effectively organise and supervise a team of QA technicians and Team leaders across the site with structured personal development plans.
**Job Duties**
- Organising manning to cover QA duties efficiently across the business
- Conducting daily GHP audits, monthly FB audits and closing out actions
- Agreeing, implementing and reviewing quality improvement plans
- Supporting QA’s with their daily tasks
- Scheduling annual validations for species and allergen cleaning.
- Driving projects linked to PDP’s and the strategy
- Setting measurable improvement initiatives and KPI’s
- Support site during audits
- Maintaining and coordinating swabbing plans and product sampling plans
- Development of the team with personalised development and training plans and key objectives
- Regulating the IT related KPI’s, Label verification system, paperless QA systems and general label printer software
- Must have adequate product knowledge and experience working within High risk and High Care environments
- Strong understanding of QA/QC Systems
- Understanding of the QA function and interaction with the wider business
- Good communicator and able to influence different functions to achieve objectives
- Must be able to co-ordinate projects and see through to completion.
- Work across various departments e.g. Operations, Production, NPD, Purchasing and Technical.
- Good IT skills are essential
