Groundworks Supervisor

**Groundwork Site Supervisor** **SSSTS or SMSTS essential.** We are looking for a Groundworks Supervisor to be able to run major housing and commercial sites (Groundworks and Civils only) from start to finish to include: 1. Ensuring full compliance with Quality Controls and HSE at all times. Ensuring that all those who need to pass work pass it. (Highways Inspector for Road, United Utilities for Adopted Sewers, Building Control & Warranty People for Foundations (Prior to concrete), Drainage prior to backfill, Water Service prior to backfill etc) 2. Ensuring that all Day-work crews work full hours and work efficiently. 3. Co-ordinate the work of all Price-work crews to maximise work done, always ensuring good quality, and full HSE compliance 4. Calling off/Scheduling all Materials, Plant, Fuel to ensure Sub-contractors are allowed to perform at their optimum levels without stoppages. Timing Deliveries to ensure no delays whilst at the same time not clogging up the site 5. Managing the site to ensure that all Timescale Targets are met with mínimal resources 6. Working with Clients to ensure that our progress is never hindered and that we move forwards towards job completion from the beginning of the scheme until the last bit of topsoil is spread. There is always a reason to "Stop the Job" or "Slow it down" we want you to always avoid this as stoppages and delays cost dear. 7. Authorising weekly payments to Operatives (Timesheets), Sub-Contractors (TickSheets) and all suppliers who provide fit for purpose services. 8. Assist with client valuations using basic ticksheets, daywork claims and materials on site valuations We offer the following: 1. Excellent Basic of £25 per hour plus Bonuses of up to £5000 per year. 2. Good work life balance (Few Weekends nor late evenings) 3. Limited travelling - but we pay 30p per mile over and above 10 miles each way to site 4.
