Venn Group are delighted to have partnered with one of our valued public sector clients, to source a diligent, proactive and personable individual for the following role:
**Location**: Hertfordshire

**Duration**:Three months +

**Rate**: £22.40 per hour + holiday pay

**Hours**: Full-time (37.5 hours p/week)

**The duties of the role include**:

- Managing all aspects of the business administration/secretariat support of the Board, its committees and executive committee. This will include taking responsibility for the preparation of agendas, ensuring that papers are produced to appropriate deadlines, collating and circulating papers in a timely fashion, taking accurate minutes of the meetings, maintaining and following up on actions and producing summary reports for the Trust Board
- Following up, monitoring and ensuring the completion of actions required by the Board and its committees
- Overseeing the arrangements for booking meetings, catering, presentation equipment etc. when required
- Processing correspondence, reports, minutes and agendas to a high standard of presentation and in line with the Trust guidelines
- Establishing and maintaining robust internal monitoring systems for all Internal Audit, Local Counter Fraud Specialist and External Audit reports, including monitoring and collating management responses to draft reports, arranging timely return of responses to auditors for finalisation and escalating any issues or risks identified appropriately
- Acting as a main point of contact for non-executive directors and arranging meetings for them, when necessary
- Participating in the preparation of reports and presentations as delegated

**Essential skills/experience required**:

- Demonstrable experience supporting board-level executives
- Experience of taking minutes in meetings
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
