We have an opportunity to join our team as a Stock Administrator, on a 6 month fixed term contract basis.
**Job Description**:
The days and hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30
**Salary**: £20,231
The purpose of the role is to provide accurate stock administration, reconciling actual stock against system stock, investigating discrepancies and escalating non-conformance.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Creating and distributing stock reports to both internal and external customers.
- Processing stock queries within agreed timeframes, providing customer care.
- Investigating discrepancies and processing dispute procedures.
- Undertaking PI Checks and Cycle Counting, ensuring monthly KPI targets are met as a minimum.
- Processing system transactions to correct stock balances.
- Investigating outstanding, incoming, outside and missing stock.
- Empty location checks as required on the system.
- Recording and escalating internal and external non-conformances.
- General administration paperwork filing.
- WMS user accounts & hardware maintenance
- Other duties as reasonably required on an operational basis.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous stock control experience desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Team player who can also work on own initiative.
- Able to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
- Flexible in approach to work and shift patterns in order to cover for absence.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
- PC Literate in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
**Experience in a packing, or e-commerce operation would be advantageous**
