Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and experience in office administration to contribute to a professional and dynamic environment. The Administrator will play a key role in managing correspondence, maintaining records, and supporting various departments as needed.
Duties
- Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
- Organising and maintaining files, documents, and records both physically and electronically
- Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars
- Preparing reports, correspondence, and other documentation as required
- Supporting accounts payable/receivable processes and invoicing procedures
- Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and well-stocked with supplies
- Providing general administrative support to team members and management as needed
Skills
- Proven office experience with strong organisational abilities
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and Xero.
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong typing skills for efficient document preparation
- Previous clerical or administrative experience is highly desirable
- Good phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines
- Ability to adapt quickly to new software or administrative procedures
