Deeside, United Kingdom Associ8 Solutions Full time

Are you passionate about food safety, compliance, and ensuring all technical details meet legal and regulatory standards? We’re looking for a Technical Administrator to join our fast-paced chilled food manufacturing site, supporting the technical team in maintaining high standards for food safety, technical documentation, and legal compliance.
This is a key role for someone with an eye for detail and a solid understanding of HACCP principles. You’ll help ensure that the site remains fully audit-ready, managing compliance documentation, complaints management, and aligning processes with legal food requirements. Your contribution will help maintain the highest standards of product safety, quality, and traceability — from customer specifications to regulatory audits.
What You’ll Be Doing:
*
Supporting technical documentation to ensure compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP records and legal requirements.
*
Managing food safety compliance through regular updates to internal systems, ensuring accurate traceability, product specifications, and audit readiness.
*
Tracking and managing complaints from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented and compliance standards are met.
*
Assisting with internal audits, non-conformance management, and ensuring corrective actions are documented in accordance with both retailer and regulatory standards.
*
Preparing documentation for customer visits, BRC audits, and retailer-specific requirements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
*
Supporting the team in managing technical records to ensure they are accurate, timely, and aligned with food safety regulations.
What You’ll Bring:
*
Experience in food manufacturing, ideally within chilled or ambient products.
*
Strong understanding of food safety compliance, including HACCP, food law, and regulatory documentation.
*
Experience in technical writing, specifically related to food safety, compliance records, and audit documentation.
*
Solid administrative skills, with exceptional attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
*
Strong communication skills to work across technical, quality, and operations teams, ensuring that all standards are met and maintained.
*
Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment, managing priorities and supporting key compliance activities
