**Role**:HR Advisor

**Location**:London

**Salary**:£30,000 - £32,000 pa

**Hours**:Full time 37.5 hrs per week, Monday - Friday 08;30am - 16;30pm

**Job Purpose**:
To provide an efficient, effective and customer focussed HR Advice service which supports all aspects of an employee’s relationship and engagement with NRS. Be the point of contact to support managers through employee relations issues, in line with legislation, best practice and company procedure. Provide responsive, pragmatic and commercially focused solutions and recommendations. Build and develop great relationships with managers and employees at all levels

Must be able and prepared to travel across sites in the London area

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Advise and support managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence, flex working and all other employee relations matters
- Support interviews and assessment centre days
- Communicate with HR Co-ordinators and HRBPs regularly to ensure a joined up approach
- Advise managers through difficult/complex ER
- Meet SLA targets set by HR Services manager
- Support with consultation meetings (g: TUPE, redundancy)
- Visit regional site locations on a quarterly basis to maintain good relationships with managers and employees
- Where required attend in person or virtually to provide HR support for high risk ER matters
- Ensures compliance for their region (eg: IR35, DBS at 3 years)
- Coach and train new managers in NRS HR policy/procedure
- Support new starters induction and ensure probation reviews take place with their region
- Support long term sick absence and return to work, action occupational health referrals
- Work with HRBP to drive change and transformation projects
- Advise on matters relating to terms and conditions, contractual arrangements and policy
- Escalate matters to HR Services Manager or legal advisors where required

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- CIPD qualified or equivalent
- Experienced HR advisor preferably supporting multi-site
- Resilient, shows tenacity when faced with opposition or obstacles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident with technology and able to use it intuitively.
- Driving license due to occasional travel to sites
- Ability to plan and organise priorities
- Work under pressure and multitask
- Good attention to detail
- When appropriate, can challenge with tact and diplomacy.
- Can do attitude, confident and proactive
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and influence
