Youth Project Administrator

**Introduction**
The Ayr Ark is a youth project which seeks to engage with young people through events, outreach and mentoring to equip young people with relevant skills and training and empower them to reach for a more positive future.
We are looking for an experienced Administrator to assist and support the Project Leader in the day to day running of the office. You will be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative and have the confidence and ability to complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner. You will be highly organised with an excellent level of attention to detail. This is an exciting time to join the Ayr Ark as we have recently been relocated to new premises and are looking to develop our work amongst young people within our new facility.
**Duties of Post**
- Manage all charity administration, including responding to correspondence, coordinating calendars and minuting for Trustee meetings.
- Compile and update general charity policies.
- Assist with fundraising via online portals and producing end of grant reports.
- Will be expected to quickly learn how to use SAGE Business Cloud Accounting for invoicing and receipts.
- Ensure all staff and volunteer training is kept up to date and organise rotas.
- Book and organise youth activities for holiday programmes.
- To undertake any other administrative duties as may be required from time to time.
**Essential**
- Approachable and friendly with good communication skills.
- A good standard of spoken and written English is critical.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office 365.
- Respectful of confidentiality.
- A quick learner who can work effectively and efficiently whilst multitasking.
- To develop and maintain positive professional relationships with other Ark staff, Management Board Members.
- Encourage and promote Christian values and uphold and represent the ethos of The Ark in all communication.
**Desirable**
- Fundraising experience.
- Canva Knowledge.
- Social Media platforms and website updating.
- Knowledge of SAGE Business Cloud Accounting.
- Experience working with young people.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.75 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
