**Role overview**
Do you have costing or accounts experience? We are currently looking for a **Costings Assistant**, ideally with a passion for **_food_** to join our team at Cottage Delight. Do you love to **_crunch _**numbers and have a high attention to detail? Are you someone who would love to work in a family business with a values-based culture?
You will be joining us at a great time with a new ERP system recently implemented, a site expansion project underway, a great opportunity to get to know and understand the business. You will liaise with key members of the Cottage Delight team to ensure product costs are always maintained and aligned with business decisions and changes. A permanent position working Monday to Friday, exact hours to be discussed.

**Your responsibilities**:
- You will liaise with the New Product Development Team and Operational departments assisting with costing new products according to target price points and margins.
- You will be responsible for the maintenance of purchase prices, processing in a timely manner.
- Maintain systems for calculating product costs for manufactured and purchased products, communicating any significant changes to the business.
- Assist with the calculation and maintenance of Bill of Materials for new and existing products, ensuring critical deadlines are achieved.
- Assisting in generating price lists and compiling product information in line with Export customer requirements.
- Processing sales prices in a timely manner, ensuring a smooth and efficient process liaising with sales support team.
- Support the sales team and managers with cost and ad-hoc margin analysis of products and promotional activity.
- Act as an ambassador for Cottage Delight, its brand, and its product range, role modelling our Values of pride, creativity, honesty, integrity, and unity.
**Your skills and experience**:
- The desire to work in a value driven business based on pride, creativity, honesty, integrity, and unity.
- Strong numeracy and good working knowledge of Microsoft office in particular Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a passion in delivering high quality work.
- Great organisational skills, with ability to be able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
- A real team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure to ensure business continuity.
