**Hours**: Monday - Thursday: 8.30am - 5.15pm. Friday: 8.30am - 3.45pm

**Salary**:£26,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience

**Holidays**: 33 days per year including public holidays

**Role Purpose**:To provide a comprehensive accounts assistant service to the business including responsibilities for purchasing/stock administration.

**Administration**

**Accounts Administration - split between purchasing, purchase ledger, credit control and stock control**

**Purchasing**
- Obtain quotes from suppliers / Calculate delivered costs of products
- Raise purchase orders from purchase requisitions
- Investigate and resolve delivery / pricing discrepancies
- Monitor delivery dates and liaise with suppliers if goods are due but not received
- Arrange product returns with suppliers
- Ensuring certificates from suppliers are up to date

**Purchase Ledger**
- Match purchase invoices against delivery notes
- Check invoices against PO’s - resolve discrepancies

**Credit Control**
- Contact customers with due balances to arrange payment
- Monitor credit limits
- Liaise with general manager regarding sign off’s for sales orders

**Stock Control**
- Prepare monthly stock take reports
- Investigate and resolve any stock take discrepancies - perform reconciliations of issuing / receipts into stock
- Review minimum/maximum stock levels on a monthly basis
- Review stock turnover of products
- General accounts / ad hoc duties

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Essential Criteria**

Previous administrative experience working in an office environment.

Ability to use Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise own work, meet deadlines.

High level of written and verbal communication skills.

Flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a team.

Part or Qualified AAT
