Events Marketing Executive

We are a large B2B clothing and apparel distribution and we have an exciting opportunity for experienced Events Marketing Executive, this role covers everything from major exhibitions across the country to events both internal and external, including roadshows, brand training days, training videos, podcasts, webinars, and virtual events. It's a fast-paced environment that is both challenging and demanding but also exciting and rewarding.
You will be a vital resource for the marketing team, planning and developing a collaborative calendar of events with a focus on execution, delivery, and evaluation. You will be comfortable dealing with a range of roles and levels of seniority and display initiative and ingenuity to get things done. Your key skills will be project and time management with a keen eye for detail to ensure that all events are delivered on time and within budget
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop event proposals, concepts and themes that align with the company’s objectives.
- Plan, promote and deliver the events programme, ensuring all events are delivered to a consistently high standard on time and to budget.
- Establish and agree essential parameters, e.g., time plans, budgets and targets set in conjunction with key stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with venues, suppliers, speakers, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
- Research, manage and liaise with multiple suppliers and contractors used in the events programme, maintaining excellent relationships and favourable pricing/deal.
- Work closely with the design team to determine the look and feel for the events programme.
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, such as venue selection, catering, registration, transportation, accommodation, security, audio-visual equipment, etc.
- Provide on-site support and supervision during events and handle any issues or emergencies that may arise.
- Manage budgets, including raising purchase orders and reconciling supplier invoices.
- Perform post-event evaluations, document findings, and make recommendations and changes to improve the program as required.
- Create and implement event marketing and communication strategies to promote the events and increase attendance.
- Stay up to date with the latest event trends and technologies and share these across the teams.
Core Competencies/Requirements:
- Graduate status preferred, although proven experience in event management will be considered.
- Ideally 3 years’ experience in a similar events role
- A passion for events and event technology
- Excellent organisation and communication skills with a keen focus on detail
- Able to work on your own initiative and independently, as well as part of a team.
- A proven ability to work under pressure, often to tight deadlines and successfully deliver projects with maximum effectiveness.
- An understanding of event evaluation techniques and the ability to support or drive data-driven analysis.
This role offers hybrid working of 2 days on site and 3 days WFH, however flexibility is required and a willingness to travel and stay overnight when exhibitions and events are on.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
