**Summary**

We are seeking a motivated Commercial Support Executive to join our dynamic commercial team at Edge Transport Ltd. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth and enhancing customer relationships across our service areas. Your contributions will directly impact our mission of delivering top-notch service to our clients.

**Responsibilities**
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the transport sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Utilise effective communication skills to present services and negotiate contracts.
- Analyse market trends to identify potential areas for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery for clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service through effective phone etiquette and follow-up communications.
- Assist in data entry and management of client information for accurate record-keeping.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in sales or a related field, preferably within the transport or logistics industry
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to support new business activity
- Good attention to detail and confidence with data/reporting
- CRM experience (bonus points for TMS knowledge - e.g. Vigo)
- A team-focused approach and a willingness to learn
- Excel proficient
- Comfortable with outbound customer engagement and initiating conversations with potential clients
- Experience supporting marketing or lead generation campaigns would be a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £26,500.00 per year
