We have an exciting opportunity available for a **Executive Assistant **to join our team based in our **Nottingham Head Office.** You will join us on a **full time, permanent** basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary. Because of our independence, we have a unique approach to sourcing and supplying the highest quality, best value products and brands.Supplying to a wide rangeof sectors creates a diverse and interesting customer base as well as providing countless opportunities to grow and expand. **The Executive Assistant Role**: You will provide the highest level of administrative support to the Board of Directors and assist with organisation of their diaries and travel itineraries and SLS company events. As our Executive Assistant you will also be providing administrative supportto the HR team and the management of the reception area including the welcoming of all visitors to the SLS offices. **This exciting role will require you to have the ability and competence in the following areas** - Arranging travel to worldwide destinations, booking transfers and hotel accommodation.Drafting itineraries and collating all necessary paperwork. - Arrange meetings and coordinate diaries - Prepare the board pack and agenda for board meetings as well as other meetings involving members of the Board. - Gathering and collating information to ensure Directors are prepared for all meetings. - Ensuring expenses are claimed and reconciled. - Take minutes and write up meeting notes - Managing the reception **What we’re looking for in our Executive Assistant**: - 3-5 years working in an Executive Assistant or similar position where you have been supporting an Executive team. - Experience of running and organising large corporate events - Exceptional administration skills, confident user of all Office 365 packages and other company specific IT systems. - Excellent oral and written communication skills, being able to communicate at all levels. - Highly organized with the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple, conflicting deadlines with attention to detail and within agreed timelines. - Strong attention to detail - Proactive individual, able to work on own initiative - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Confident to liaise with the Board of Directors, Senior Management Team and Department Managers. - Experience in dealing with strict adherence to confidentiality requirements - Forward thinking team player with a flexible attitude - Ability to successfully work in a ("virtual") team environment - Basic knowledge of Employment Law and HR practices and procedures **About Us**: With a Nottingham based Head Office, but with customers all over the UK, we are a stable and growing company who have an excellent reputation in the market.
