**Opportunity**
We are looking for a Social Media Producer to join us and help take our social media to the next level
We are looking for a keen writer that’s highly creative, has an eye for great visuals, a keen interest (an excellent knowledge) of social media and demonstrable skills in shooting, editing and planning video and photography content.
As the Social Media Producer, you are responsible for the development, management and nurturing of Prima Cheese’ social media accounts. You will be expected to produce high quality content across our social channels (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok) as well as growing and nurturing our online audience, reporting and sharing insights with the view of improving our output. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will help shape the overall strategy and approach to social media with the view of owning and driving the strategy.
**Responsibilities**:
**Content Calendar**: Own the annual social media calendar, planning and delivering content with support from the wider marketing team.
**Community Management**: Monitor our social channels, engage with our audience and drive conversations. You will be responsible for cultivating our online community, understanding what engages them and feeding this back into your content plan, with the view of producing targeted campaigns.
**Trends**: You will be responsible for keeping up to date with all the latest trends and best practice across the social platforms.
**Copywriting**: Write compelling copy in our tone of voice almost exclusively for our social channels - there will also be opportunities to write for other mediums
**Video and Photography**: Produce visuals for our social channels from simple photography to short form video content. This will involve monthly visits to our offices in Seaham, Durham to shoot compelling content for our channels as well as briefing teams remotely to help gather and/or produce content.
**Reporting**: Though this is a social role, you will be responsible for tracking and monitoring the success of all our marketing activity. You will gather insights with the view of improving our content and engagement and being the point person for data within the Marketing Team.
**Essential Requirements**:
- You will need to be very comfortable shooting and filming content on handheld as well as being confident in briefing other team members where necessary.
- Attention to details is critical, you will have a collaborative mindset, be organised and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms.
- Must be creative with strong storytelling skills with the ability to come up with new content ideas.
- Proactive and able to communicate effectively with other departments across the business.
- A desire to grow and thrive in a social media role - you will have plenty support from the team to support your development.
- A love for cheese would also be handy
