We are currently seeking a Associate Live Social Media Producer to join our Broadcast Operations team. You will be responsible for driving all social interaction between our on air content and our audience, creating a true shopping community.

Job description:

- To execute and produce live video broadcast content across social media platforms
- To drive social interaction between QVC and our audience
- To moderate our online shopping community conversations
- To prepare, distribute and communicate relevant information to the team
- To be the primary ‘go-to’ person between the Contact Centre and the gallery
- To drive the efficient delivery of key information to our customers across our live platforms
- To support the Producer in the gallery

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**Live Social Media Output 30%**
- Daily, to execute and produce multiple live video broadcast content across our social media platforms to generate incremental sales and digital engagement
- To meet with presenters and guest to relay themes, direction and purpose of live broadcasts on social media platforms
- Guide live broadcasts to achieve editorial guidelines and achieve briefs
- To achieve relevant targets of live broadcasts (Shares, Likes, Comments and Views)

**Live Control Rooms & Production (70%)**
- To collate and share relevant content, reviews, blogs, posts, pics and videos that supports and promotes socially engaging and interactive television
- To support the Producer by ensuring the relevant support material is available for play out
- To engage and moderate our online communities in relevant conversations throughout the live shows, consistent with QVC values
- To ensure relevant scripts are activated/closed in a timely manner
- To act as the link between the Contact Centre and the Production team
- To seek out product, size, colour and other relevant information to the live show, that will help increase sales opportunities and reduce excessive talk time in the contact centre
- To ensure that shift hand over notes are completed and passed on by the end of the shift
- In the absence of the Supervisor of Associate Producers or the Production Scheduler, to ensure adequate levels of staff are available in order to maintain output
- Periodically review your own work to ensure your own standards continue to meet or exceed the expected level of performance

**ASSIGNMENT AND REVIEW OF WORK**
- Regular updates with Social Media teams in London and Knowsley in order to be aligned with our current social media strategy
- Production requirements determined in accordance with the sales strategy, programme schedule, social media schedule and shift roster
- Regular communication with the Producers, Directors, CPs, Line Manager and Head of Production with regard to specific projects/duties

**DECISION MAKING**

There are areas of decision making in this role:

- Editorial decision making regarding digital engagement and social interaction and customer service / communication
- Creation, production, co-ordination and publication of ad hoc audio, video (e.g. iPhone/iPad) and text-based (e.g. comments, conversations and tagged links) content, consistent with QVC values and current guidelines
- Filtering information and sharing it between Knowsley, key members of the business and Line Producers
